Invited by the Rio de Janeiro Department of Education, UNESCO, and Foz Águas 5, we developed a teacher training project in the city’s west zone. In partnership with ASAP, we fostered the exchange of innovative classroom practices and led a training program on creating collaborative games based on the Game Thinking methodology — a blend of gamification, agile development, and Design Thinking, focused on delivering more engaging experiences and more effective outcomes.

To raise awareness of their importance and highlight the long-term benefits of a modern sanitation system, the company partnered with UNESCO and the Department of Education to create a project that could bring the community closer to this transformation.

Result
In partnership with ASAP, we delivered Game Thinking training for public school teachers in the West Zone, combining gamification, design thinking, and agile development. The project unfolded in three waves, engaging several groups and resulting in over 15 collaborative games on sanitation. These games became an educational and awareness tool first for teachers and later for children, who not only played but also carried this knowledge back to their homes. The initiative toured schools in a mobile unit, reaching thousands of students while fostering collaboration, co-creation, and social transformation.
